Invite personally.
Reach out to a few families who may need an easy way to meet people. A personal invitation matters more than a broad post.
FOUNDING FAMILY AMBASSADORS
Play Date Ambassadors are local parents and caregivers who make it easier for a new family to walk in, feel seen, and leave knowing someone's name.
Become a founding ambassadorWHY AMBASSADORS MATTER
Families often want more community, but the first event can still feel awkward. An Ambassador makes the welcome personal by remembering names, starting conversations, and helping people find common ground.
YOUR ROLE
Reach out to a few families who may need an easy way to meet people. A personal invitation matters more than a broad post.
Welcome people at gatherings, introduce parents with something in common, and help children join the activity.
Share ideas and feedback so future Socials, Adventures, and family communication become even more useful.
THE THREE MONTH PILOT
We will begin with a small Milwaukee area group so the program can grow from real experience.
Attend at least one Play Date gathering each month during the three month pilot.
Personally invite two families each month who may enjoy Play Date.
Welcome new faces and help parents make their first introduction.
Share honest feedback about what families need and what could work better.
Follow the Play Date Community Guidelines at every gathering.
WHAT YOU GIVE
Attend, invite, welcome, and send a short check-in after the gathering. There are no follower counts, sales quotas, or daily posting requirements.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
START WITH A CONVERSATION
We are looking for a small first group of dependable, welcoming parents and caregivers in the Milwaukee area. Tell us a little about yourself and why you want to help.
