How the day flows
- 01
9:30 AM · Check in and meet the group
Meet your Play Date host outside the ticket window at 2002 Church Street in East Troy. We will hand out name tags, make introductions, and share the plan before boarding. Caregivers stay with their children throughout the event, and families arrange their own travel to and from the depot.
- 02
10:00 AM · Planned first train
Board the planned first Harvest Fest train to The Elegant Farmer. A window-spotting activity gives kids something easy to discover and share with a new friend. Train seating is subject to availability.
- 03
About 11:00 AM · Arrive and regroup
Meet the group after the train ride and get ready for the included Elegant Farmer hayride through the orchard to the pumpkin patch. We plan to begin the hayride around 11:05 AM.
- 04
11:05–11:50 AM · Hayride and hosted pumpkin hunt
Ride through the orchard to the pumpkin patch, then join a simple hosted hunt that helps kids explore and connect. Any pumpkin you choose to take home is a separate purchase.
- 05
11:50 AM · Regroup for the return
Meet your host at the Elegant Farmer train platform for the planned noon return train. We expect to be back at East Troy Depot at about 1:00 PM for a quick closing goodbye. The railroad operates Harvest Fest shuttles and posts the next departure at each depot, so exact return timing and boarding are subject to the day’s operating schedule and capacity.
Where we will meet
The starting and return point is East Troy Depot, 2002 Church Street, East Troy, Wisconsin. The destination is The Elegant Farmer, 1545 Main Street, Mukwonago, Wisconsin.
Meet outside the East Troy Depot ticket window at 9:30 AM for check-in and introductions before our planned 10:00 AM train. Registered families will receive a reminder with the meeting point and any schedule updates. Families arrange their own travel to and from East Troy Depot.
