A free adults-only night to meet parents who get it, with light appetizers and optional playful activities. Come solo or bring someone.

YOUR NIGHT OUT
Walk in knowing exactly where to begin.
Enter Station 1846 through the main W. Bruce Street entrance and look for the multicolor Play Date sign and name-tag table. Your host will welcome you and make the first introduction.
This event is for adults 21 and older; bring a valid photo ID. Station 1846 is wheelchair accessible. Share dietary or access needs through your RSVP or contact Play Date before the event so we can plan with you. Ingredient and common-allergen information will be shared before the event.

- Missing Sock Challenge: Race to match the mystery pairs.
YOUR FIRST 15 MINUTES
No awkward entrance required.
- 01Find the Play Date welcome. Check in, get your name tag, and meet your host.
- 02Make the First Hello. We will introduce you to another local parent so you do not have to work the room alone.
- 03Settle into the fun. A shared prompt or game gives everyone an easy place to begin.

Save your Eventbrite confirmation and check it for updates before leaving. Coming alone? Tell your host, “This is my first Play Date.” We will help with the first hello. Watching before joining in is welcome.

What your free RSVP includes
Admission includes hosting, introductions, three optional activities, music, and light appetizers. Nobody has to participate in anything. Drinks are available for individual purchase directly from Station 1846.
Top 10 things you will not hear at Parents’ Night Out
- TEN: ‘Can I have a snack?’ They are already provided.
- NINE: ‘Can you open this?’ Everything will be adult-accessible.
- EIGHT: ‘But I don’t like it!’ That is fine. Nobody spent 45 minutes making it.
- SEVEN: ‘They got more than me!’ Snack portions will not be formally investigated.
- SIX: ‘Watch this!’ No dangerous demonstrations are scheduled.
- FIVE: ‘Can I play on your phone?’ Your battery belongs to you tonight.
- FOUR: ‘Where are my shoes?’ You only have to keep track of your own.
- THREE: ‘Are we there yet?’ Yes. You made it. Take a breath.
- TWO: ‘But I’m not tired!’ Neither are we. Bedtime is negotiable tonight.
- ONE: ‘Mom! Dad! Mom! Dad! Mom!’ For a few glorious hours, your first name works again.
Who is welcome
Married, partnered, divorced, and single parents are welcome. This is an adults-only community night, not a singles event, couples event, or business mixer. Childcare is not provided.
